Look like its not gonna be fun trying to catch up with all the work. Plus, i have 35 days left to get qualified for my H3 chem. Ragh..

Today, in exchange for knowledge about Special and General Relativity of physics, i taught Weiliang about photosynthesis and how a camera sensor works. He seems rather interested in the Electron Transport Chain (I was tempted to tell him about RUBISCO, just because its so cool xD).

P.S. If wormholes really existed, then SBS, SMRT, Comfort etc are going bust. Especially SBS, since its so unreliable anyway.. lol

Finally bought that $99 thing which i wanted. But too bad it cant be installed on the PC, so now i have to use the laptop everytime i wanna edit my pics. =.=

1)Need to be top 5% in the whole cohort.
2) Need to score at least a C for content subjects
3) Need to get A for Chemistry
4) Need to get A for Math
5) Need to pass GP
6) Make sure all of the above is in my grasp in 42 days

(1) would probably be nothing if you meet criteria (2), (3) and (4).

I've got 42 days to work on it. Wish me luck.

JC will probably be the best ever. And this time, i will make sure that i cherish everything around me.

Wacky weekend

But having 2 tests on monday, both of which are subjects which i suck at, really sucks. And i havent even included the studying for the Bio SPA assesment, which is on next week as well.






P.S. I think this year's NDP song is really bad. Actually, the quality, or rather the "feel" of the songs are deteriorating by the year. And soon enough, this may be so blatently obvious to everyone, that it does not even deserve mentioning. Oh, and Xinyi's singing cmi.. Absolutely tone-deaf. lols

P.S.S. Secret Valentine still rocks, after all these time, in addition to Taylor Swift.

To keep track of your education. tch...

I have 1 bio test and 1 chem test coming tmr, followed by 1 math test and 1 geog test on next monday along with the actual SPA exam sometime later in the same week. This sucks. =.=

Concentration concentration this is a game of concentration

I realised that i can get a lot of work done when i am focussed. My past 2 hours werent wasted, though my past 2 days were. =.=

Just one requirement:
Quiet environment without any disturbances, which includes humans, and technology.

Talk about pollution

As i was walking home after jogging, i noticed that under the halogen lamps of the basketball court, the dust floating in the air is clearly visible. Even under the sodium street lamps, a slight haze could be seen. I suddenly regretted jogging after that.

I came online to do elearning.
You totally ruined my mood when you talked to me.

National day celebration. Well, i dont know about other LTs, but i cant say that i understand the link between the short films we watched and National Education. In case you were wondering, here are some of the reasons:

1. Video (1) was an animated cartoon. They showed people humping each other on the bed.
2. Video (2) had a girl pointing her middle finger (yes, its really her middle finger. We all counted.) at the camera, and also a toilet cleaning auntie describing other girls as bitches cos they stick their used sanitary pads on the door. =.=
3. Video (3) had intimate scenes of wad ppl do when they get all horny and also english subtitles (the film was in chinese) which used the f word (quite frequently too, if i might add)
4. Video (4) had a 4 year old girl who wanted to drink the medicated oil to commit suicide cos her mother kept making her play the piano. zzz

Seriously, there was NO LINK between NatEd and those videos. None at all. But on the bright side, it was really entertaining cos you got all those people from other classes in the LT to laugh along with. One even said out loud(-ly) "That show sucks!" after video (3) finished. Totally hilarious.

But on the other hand, at least the afternoon wasnt wasted. LKC library with gillian and amelia was fun(-ish). Best thing was, gillian bought a barley drink which tasted funny and had an ingredient called semen coicis in it. Both amelia and i failed miserably in persuading her to believe that its not REAL semen. =.= In the end, the library rocked and had this book about TCM and we found that semen coicis was a HERB that had soothing properties for the nasalpharyngal area. Oh, and i fell in love with the books with Call Number 530 there. Absolutely AWESOME!!

And yet again..

I have said it before, and i will say it again.

Life is complicated. With so many threads intersecting with each other, its hard to move one disturbing another.

I have to get used to a new keyboard. Again.

This one has an "Enter" button that's too large and a "Backspace" that's too small. =.=

Just now, i ordered honey green tea to go with my lunch. The person who took my order was from China and didnt understand what i told her and hence asked me to repeat in chinese. I find myself speechless for a moment as i struggled to think of a translation for that. In the end, after a second's hesitation, i forced out a crude" 蜜 糖 绿 茶". Then, i heard the other worker, one who understood english, tell her that it was " 花 蜜 绿 茶".

I was totally abashed.


Oh well, i'm off to conquer Homework Mountain. Coming, anyone?
